Jana Gana Mana
The national anthem of India 'Jana Gana Mana' was originally composed as Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata in the language of Bengali by Rabindranath Tagore. It was 1st publically sung on the 27th of December, 1911at the Culcutta session of the Indian National Congress. The first stanza of the song Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India as the National Anthem of India on the 24th of January, 1950. A formal rendition of the national anthem takes approximately 52 seconds.
